Mobile ride-sharing app for commuters (SF <> Silicon Valley)

Hovee was a ride-share platform designed specifically for metropolitan areas where there are clear commute challenges and volumes - e.g. SF <> Silicon Valley, Manhattan <> Brooklyn / boroughs, etc. The platform enabled commuters with cars to connect with riders with generally the same commute - affording the ability to set preferences, share costs, manage a recurring calendar, etc. The adjacent vision for the company was to also enable commuting via like-minded professionals, or people with just similar / specific interests: i.e. for any given hour-long commute, why not optimize that time by networking, sharing ideas, mentoring / being mentored, collaborating, etc. The platform consisted of both a robust web application as well as a cross-platform mobile app.
